I've just been reading a wedding resource site and I am inspired *wooowww! to make a post about wedding tips. Okay this is not about wedding planning and all that --I'll leave that to the expert. But this is just a simple post about few things I learned during my wedding. So let me start with:
-Prepare an extra. Extra white undershirt for the groom, extra stockings for you, the bride, or your bridesmaids. Bring extra candles, hanky, lighter, matches...
-Place hairpins, safety pins, transparent nail polish*, an extra lighter on your purse.
*A transparent nail polish may be useful to mend sticking runs (in case there's no extra stockings)
-Don't expect to have everything to perfection or to your liking. I know this is not a very positive thought but at least you won't get too disappointed if something unplanned happens.
-Forget about the people, the guests, the decorations, the reception (that will follow), the cameras. Just forget everything except to enjoy your wedding day.
That's my short and simple list. Oh can I just add this: check your shoes a million times before the ceremony. You wouldn't want any boo-shoe episode, would you?
