Staying Fit This Holiday

Studies say that an average person will gain as much as 25 pounds on the course of the Christmas season. Holly, mah golly, TWENTY FIVE POUNDS! *clutching my heart* If that's the case, then I'm gonna put a tape over my mouth right this very minute. *chuckle*

But really, if gaining 25 pound is possible in 30 days then it would be great to learn some ways in controlling our fingers from stuffing our mouth with what have you. Oh btw, this reminds me of something sweet that is not ingested - it's those Swisher Sweets. I didn't know about them until now. But okay off to the tips.

Here are three suggested tips from all around:

1. Eat a light snacks before going to holiday parties. It can be a fruit or few calorie-free cookies just to curb the appetite a little.

2. Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. Apart from burning the calories you've accumulated from holiday parties, it also makes you feel good inside-out. Indeed, physical activities like jogging, aerobics etc... are good stress reliever.

3. Choose your drinks wisely. Some beverages like flavored alcoholic drinks are packed with extra calories. Natural fruit juices and plain water are great thirst quencher. Diet or calorie-free drinks may also be a wise choice.

So there, have fun. Cheers!
