Medicine/Prescription bottles, especially those with wide mouth, may be use to hold seeds.
Plastic candy bottles or film containers may be used to keep clips, or staple wires, pins, needles or buttons.
Bigger plastic candy bottles like those Trolli Gummi containers may be used to hold crayons, erasers, sharpeners, small toys or whatnot. These container are also handy when traveling. Like when we travel and need to bring bottles of liquid medicine/vitamins, to keep spillage disasters at minimum, I always use these containers to hold such things.
